About Us

old-family-small The Heine Family

Five years ago, Adam and Cindy Heine moved from California to Thailand, to take care of orphans and follow God’s call wherever it lead them. Originally they thought they’d be managing a children’s home, but after volunteering at other orphanages their vision changed. Their heart is not just to give children a house and food and education, but to raise them in love. They want to give parents to children who have none. They want to be those parents.

In 2010, they already had three foster children as well as two children of their own. They took on the Ban Suk Jai name from David and Tracey Wade and as many children as they thought they could handle. Learn more about the Heines and their home at their website.

The original directors of Ban Suk Jai, David and Tracey Wade are Australian citizens that came to Thailand with their children Emily & Jordan and a desire to open a home for children that have been abandoned, abused or neglected.

The Wades home church “Beachside Vineyard” sent them out in July 2005 to a province in Northern Thailand called Chiang Mai.

Together, David and Tracey have nearly twenty years of business experience. David and Tracey’s role in the home was as facilitators and overseers of the project along with sourcing of funds plus training and raise up of Thai people to run the home. In 2010, they handed the home over to Adam and Cindy Heine.
